Crossing the Town-Gown Division with SUNY-Albany August 21, 2014 | Uncategorized by ReThink Health Staff Working with faculty in SUNY Albany’s School of Public Administration and Policy, ReThink Health helped design a semester-long assignment that pairs students with leaders of local organizations in the region. Together, they study trends over time and craft strategies based on policy priorities. This experience brings students outside the classroom and strengthens the school’s connection to local organizations, with focus on leading health system change in their own region. Now SUNY has encouraged the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration–a national network of over 200 schools–as the basis of a national student case competition. 25,000 students will have the option to participate in the competition, which will take place in February 2015.
